Big Couple of Days

So when I got to Brisbane my days before hospital became so busy. Here's the list of what I did:
Bought cryogenic storage unit
Getting lost to DFO by being unable to read maps and getting confused with the maps
Having a stress attack because I really wanted to go to DFO but could not help my mum find it
Trying on a heap of clothes and shoes but hating the prices, fit and being sad because nothing was in emo colours!!!!
Mum driving into oncoming traffic because she took the wrong turn into a loading dock instead of the car park
Hearing Angus and Julia in the Chermside Temt and thinking of Jazmin Ochoa
Turning down a Dotti dress worth $80 for a designer dress, Mink Pink, worth $40

Now onto the hospital list:
I had to get up early only to wait in the waiting room for 2 hours
I fell asleep in the waiting room because I was cranky and hungry (fasted since midnight the night before)
Got to wear and am still wearing a stylish hospital gown
Wearing no jewelry
Having a deep conversation with the anesthetist before going under
Waking up in recovery and freaking out because of the oxygen mask
Not being able to eat until 1pm
Meeting my drip named Fred
Having my mum help me with everything
Filling out a menu wooo
Watching tv all night and going on Facebook and twitter where my amazing support network is
Feeling really dizzy, sore and hot so didn't get the best sleep
Seeing my doctor who lifted my spirits and removed my doubts (before she came I prayed that those things would be done - God delivers!)
Now just chilling waiting for breakfast

Wow that was insane, I really needed to be not slack and do that in separate blogs but oh well. Speaking of not being slack im off to read my bible.

& We're Off

After packing the car and making sure we have a towel, because you always need a towel (Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy reference) we were off to Brisbane. Before too long the lame dancing began.

After many pee stops and a lunch stop at Matilda Gympie with the amazing Jones Sugar Cane Soft Drink that was Grape flavoured (YUM), we were continuing on our way. Throughout the whole day my mum and I let impatient speeding cars overtake us only for them to be caught behind someone else.

When arriving in Brisbane I was greeted by my autistic cousin and his iPad. This iPad was paid for by Autism Queensland!!! Awesome foundation. After taking silly photos and playing a Harry potter spells game we retired for dinner.

Just before he toddled off to bed we played Lego with me pretending to be a news team with 3 news reporters. Now I'm writing this blog because he is in bed.

Now I'm off to go chat with my mum and auntie!

Day 1 Away from Rockhampton

Well this begins my first day away from Rockhampton before my ovarian surgery. Scary stuff but I have the faith in God whose strength I ca rely on rather than be absorbed by my fear.

Today my parents came to get me from Rockhampton. I really missed them. I laughed so hard when my dad was nagging my mum for lollies in Kmart. I joined in eventually and we ended up getting 3 bags for $3!!!

Then came the drive home, as usual in every drive with my parents we ate lollies and hardly talked. Gave me a lot of nice time with my iPod. While bored in the car I started watching A Very Potter Musical which as I'm a Harry Potter fan it had me in a fit of acrucio (get it pains of laughter hahah).

To finish the day we washed the car in modest/winter style - skinny jeans and a tee shirt.

Now I'm off to eat pumpkin soup before I spill it over my iPhone and the blog turns into a random string of letters.

Thoughts after I just woke up

Hello bloggers,

Don't you hate it when you have a cold and you wake up with snot all over your face. It makes me wonder, how much of that snot went in your mouth?

Weird thoughts today. Here's some more:
Sucking a cold spoon when you wake up makes that morning breath disappear
When I go to a library I take out way more books than I can read because I already have started books of my own at home.
Watching animations sometimes impacts me more than real people.
I love how i have a bible on my iPhone and I can search words that I'm thinking about and it will give me some scriptures.

Okay the last one wasn't really weird but more just amazing. I mean seriously technology is amazing! Or confusing as the older generations may say. Only problem is now we get arthritis rather than writer's cramp. I'm beginning to think the pain never ends.

Haha well have a good day, mine's half over.

I'm Back

Hi everyone,

So I'm back on blogger, weird... But good. The inspiration for this re-blogging adventure came from an amazing Baptist pastor who is also head of Crossover ( an amazing media filled ministry for Christianity). He was talking about IT Evangelism which is where you post status' and videos to show how Christianity works and even just to make people think!

So yea, uber keeness and since I'll be in hospital with an operation this blog will thrive!

:)

Here's some websites that amazed me:

www.iamsecond.com

Much love and embrace the strength of God,
